To be eligible for judging:
- All projects must be submitted to Devpost. Projects using Gemini tools must also submit in the "Challenges" page found on the MLH Hack Day event page (Gemini Challenge Submission Page)
- A link to your public Github repository must be submitted
- Projects must be built during the hackathon
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection:
All eligible submissions will be judged by the following criteria:
- Technicality & Quality – Level of technical skill demonstrated and whether a working prototype is delivered. If applicable, creativity and complexity in incorporating Gemini tools.
- Design – Attention to aesthetics, usability, and overall user experience/interface.
- Presentation – Clarity, completeness, and professionalism of the written Devpost submission and any demos
- Inspiration – Uniqueness, creativity, and how exciting the project is.
- Authenticity – Originality of the idea; whether it stands apart from existing or previously seen projects.
